We did a quick tour of the highlights in Florence.
We headed to the Galleria dell'Accademia to see "the David". David is Renaissance sculpture created between 1501 and 1504, by the famous Italian artist Michelangelo. Along my travels I have seen things that were meant to be super impressive and seemed kind of small in size but "The David" did not disappoint. It was much larger than I expected and really quite impressive.
During our exploring we checked out many churches in Florence. Each as amazing as the next.
