I tried to spend as little time in Bangkok as possible due to the flooding. The main tourist parts were still open but I was really ready to get out of the city. Everyone said it was not as crazy as normal. I really don't think I would have enjoyed the real Bangkok on an average day. I spent only two days in Bangkok: my first day was with Justin and Dawn and then I spent one day before I left for Ghana.

There were cement barriers and sand bags everywhere.
