Irish love in Dublin

Mar. 15 2012

I am so happy to share my Ireland experience with Shannon. It feels so good to see how excited Shannon is to be in Ireland. I love seeing her giant smile at anything Irish. She had always wanted to come here.

I am amazing by the amount of information we learned in one day in Dublin. I am yet again a fan of the Sandeman's New Europe tours. The tour started off with a bang when the guide called Shannon Ginger! He then later proposed to her. It was an uneventful day.

Love the lamp posts

Random Facts/ Observations by Shannon/Jessica:

  • There are more red headed guys than girls. Shannon said she saw mostly fake red hair on girls. It is perfect for you Shannon since you want to keep your red hair going, lots of guys to chose from.
  • Until recently (I think 25 years ago) St. Patrick's day was a holiday were everything was closed including pubs. As result of the American celebration with green beer this was changed.  We learned that the first St. Patrick's day parade was actually in New York and then this was introduced in Dublin. Crazy!!!!
  • A Dubliner was the person were defeated Napoleon in Waterloo.
  • U2 now owes the Clarence Hotel that they were once refused service, because they were not the right clientele. They showed them!!!
